Factory alpha

Project Description

Run a factory and try to make a profit using many different machines, consuming and producing multiple resources.

|||Upgrading is currently broken... but massively in your favor. (it's upgrading a lot more than it should and I don't know why (yet))Take advantage now for ridiculously high scores!

|||Requires "Snap! JavaScript Extensions" to be enabled. Click Edit and enable Javascript Extensions from the Settings menu to run this project.

Buttons, from left to right:
1: Single Tick - Process machines once.
2: Multi-tick - Process machines multiple times automatically, at the rate set using the "Ticks/second" slider.
3: Stop - Stops Multi-Tick.
4: Shop - Buy new machines for your factory.
5: Sell - Sell a machine. (sells one)
6: Upgrade - Upgrade a machine. 10 credits per upgrade per machine. (upgrades either all machines of type at once or as many as you can afford)

Machines are displayed in this order:
Name: Generates Unit: Quantity | Consumes Unit: Quantity | Purchase Unit: Cost
(purchase unit/cost are only in the shop)

Your Score is simply the sum of all 4 resources.

Press the [+] (NOT [=]; if you're using the one next to Backspace then you have to hold Shift) key to save your game. It will show you a list, which you can right-click on and export. This is your saved game.
|||Make sure to right-click on the very top of the list where you would drag it from to get the correct context menu.

Press the [-] key to load a game. Import one of those saved games you made earlier into the empty variable shown (or got from someone else...). Then press the [-] key again to load the game, and now you can pick back up right where you left off.

Press the Stop button to hide the variable and keep playing or cancel the save/load.

From someone else? Yes, that's a convenient way to create your own machine set! Make a saved game with all the machines you want in the machine dictionary(s), then someone can load that game and have all those machines to play with.

Congratulations on reading all the notes! Enjoy building a perpetual generation machine! (forget about physics, this is a computer game!)
