Assignment 5 - Impressionist

This is my submission for my 5th assignment. I wanted to stimulate a calming effect contrasting two spectrums of the color scale. To stimulate an impressionist-like artwork I decided to choose two scenic images, one of France’s Eiffel Tower and another of a lake. I started each one by reflecting the painting of each artwork onto the stage using dots (moving 0 steps). 
To replicate the color palette found in the images, I made a list and set the values of each color and placed it into a list of items. This was then used to create the replica of the Eiffel Tower image using the color palette of the lake. Moreover, I also created a block so that when colours are lower than a certain hue, it would be increased by x amount. 
Although I wasn’t in class on Monday and am not completely sure, I was able to generally grasp the concept with the help of Ms Rachel and reapply the techniques from the student example to my artwork.
