Snowstorm 2024 - with Drones and a Surprise Vocalist!!

Hello World. This is the 2024 snowstorm project for Mr. May's Introduction to Computer Science class at Pilgrim High School in Warwick, Rhode Island, USA. 

All the students are to use cloning to create a snowstorm of some type in this project. The students are encouraged also to use
custom blocks, sound effects, and Easter eggs to make a fun and interactive program. 

The song is "Have Yourself A Merry Christmas" composed by Ralph Blane with lyrics by Hugh Morris in 1943. 

The vocalist is Alexandra Howlett, a senior at Pilgrim High School in Warwick, Rhode Island, USA. The guitarist is Mr. May, the creator of this Snap project. 

Thank you also to Mr, Reed and the sound techs Chris, Ronald, Connor, Tausquonowon, Michael, and Jancarlos in the Studio 107 program at Pilgrim High School, where we recorded the song. 




Here are a few Easter eggs in this program. Hit the s key to watch Santa fly and have a conversation with him.
Hit the z key for a Pilgrim logo drone. Hit the p key for a Pi symbol drone. If you hit the keys multiple times it gets a little bit crazy, but it's interesting to watch what happens.
